SOUTHFIELD FIRE RESERVE PROGRAM

The Fire Reserve Program is a part time training program which provides men and women who wish to pursue a career in fire fighting and emergency medical response, an opportunity to obtain valuable training and experience. The duties will be diverse and are designed to give the Fire Reserve a well-rounded exposure to and appreciation of the fire fighting process and the various functions performed by Firefighters of the City of Southfield. Reservists become familiar with the City, procedures of the Southfield Fire Department and the functions of the various divisions and units within the Department as they relate to one another.
